I have over 10 years of experience in social services in various capacities. The bulk of my experience is with family and children experiencing some tough life circumstances which include abuse, neglect, family dysfunction, trauma, and DHR involvement. I have also worked with children in Foster Care and their foster families.  

When I am not at work, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I am a huge true crime fan and watch murder docs for fun! I enjoy puzzle games and word art crafts. I also enjoy adult coloring books. 

My husband and I have 3 cats and a dog. They are all named after Star Wars characters or elements (Leia, Rebel, Rey, Ben) thanks to my husband! We are foster parents with DHR and have fostered 6 children since 2020. 

I received my Master of Social Work in May of 2013 from Alabama A&M University. I am currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I hold a certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, EMDRPT-I (EMDR Practitioner-I), and a certificate in Advanced EMDR Therapy Skills. 

I am licensed to practice in both Alabama & Tennessee.
